USAGE, SAFETY & CARE — FAQ

Is this a tabletop food cover or a vendor/event canopy?
This is a tabletop food tent designed to drape over dishes, platters, and serving bowls on a dining table or buffet surface. It is not an outdoor event canopy or vendor shelter.

Can I use it both indoors and outdoors?
Yes — it works great indoors and outdoors. It is ideal for patio dining, picnics, camping, and backyard barbecues. For best results, keep it on a flat, stable surface and away from strong wind that could tip it over.

Is it safe near open flames or a hot grill?
No. Keep this food tent away from open flames, candles, grills, and hot cookware. Abaca is a natural plant fiber and should never be placed directly on or near a heat source.

Can it be placed over hot pots or pans?
No. This cover is intended for already-plated food at serving temperature. Do not place it directly over a hot pot, pan, or chafing dish.

How do I clean it?
Spot-clean gently with a damp cloth. Allow to air-dry completely before folding or storing. Do not submerge in water, machine-wash, or tumble-dry, as this may distort the woven shape.

How should I store it?
Collapse it flat and store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight to preserve the natural fiber and color.
